In June 2005, Marty published his second book, Leadership Land Mines, 8 Management Catastrophes and How to Avoid Them which focuses on the on the eight specific behaviors that cripple any manager's ability to lead people or projects.

Marty lives quietly with his wife and 3 children in Raleigh, North Carolina. When he's not at home or in front of an audience, Marty can typically be found on or near a hockey rink.
