Getting all stakeholders and team members aligned with business goals is critical to the success of any project. In a resource constrained environment, the difference between proactively achieving timely targets and missing deadlines or quality goals depends upon the Project Manager's ability to influence people. Successful leaders understand that gaining goal alignment with team members working on their projects and stakeholders who control their availability is a critical aspect of their job. Influencing them to choose the continual tradeoffs they have to make, in your favor, ensures reliable and positive outcomes for your project.
This interactive workshop teaches you critical skills that will enable you to develop stronger, trusting relationships and manage your interactions with customers, team members and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will learn techniques to make a deeper connection, recognize the true intent and motivation of others and generate alignment. You will also be able to identify your own barriers in working effectively with people you have a conflict with or are otherwise uncomfortable. Many of these are critical to the success of your project and often the cause of failure.
